"Let heaven and earth praise Him, the seas and everything that moves in them."
~Psalm 69:34 Occasionally, I am totally surprised by the photographs I take, This is one of those photographs. I took this photo from our hotel balcony early one morning as we were enjoying our coffee together. It did not look like this to the naked eye. I was shocked to see the ocean and surf appear completely gold! I have not edited this photo at all. I have no explanation, but it does remind me of Psalm 69:34. The seas praise God continually, as does all creation, if we have eyes to see it. one of the first things I did was to purchase a 35mm camera. I wanted to learn how to shoot in manual mode and capture the beauty and wonder of life around me. I also wanted to give back to all the creatives like me who use the amazing photo-sharing website, Unsplash. Generous photographers upload their work to Unsplash offering it for completely free use to anyone wishing to download their images. Now, four years later, I have uploaded over 370 of my photographs to Unsplash! I am thrilled and humbled that they are being used. Currently, my images have almost 6 million views and over 40,000 downloads. I'm in the top 10% of contributors. Free. I love that word for so many reasons.
