“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. Matthew 7:7 This promise is from God; yet in this picture the three-paned transom over the door reminds me that the triune God in His wisdom is over all things. I am thankful for this as I am not always confident that what I ask for is in His will or is best. Yet, when He opens a door in response to my earnest prayer, I should joyfully pass through! Beyond this door were stairs leading upward...yet another picture of the results of following Jesus with an obedient, loving heart.

Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Ephesians 4:13 What we see in this photograph is not the armor of God. This is merely chain mail which would be worn under the breastplate of righteousness and the belt of truth. If you, as a disciple of Jesus Christ, tried to battle the enemies of God in this, you would not stand in the evil day. Therefore...please put on the FULL armor of God!
