This beautiful old tile is the threshold of a doorway.  It beckons friends and visitors to enter.  It is a promise of good things to come.  Many have entered and, through the years, some of the tile has been broken, but the promise remains true.  
Even if we are broken (and we are) God's promises remain true.  The Father is beckoning each of us to enter His kingdom through His son Jesus Christ who was 'broken'  for us.  Knowing you are broken is the first step.
