It shouldn't be difficult.
I shouldn't need reminders.
Such wonderful, sweet communication happens
when I slow down and stop
and really seek God's face
and pray.

This bench was right outside
my front door.
We left it behind when we moved to Georgia.
It was too heavy to move.
It's a good reminder
that I am the only one who moves away
in my relationship with God.

Your face, LORD, I will seek.
Your face is ALWAYS turned toward me.
Help me to seek You the way you seek me.
